Are There Any Anxiety Antidepressants That Can Help With Weight Loss?



Does Paxil Prozac Zoloft or Xanax help aid in weight loss/ appetite suppression?
I’m going to the doctor and am getting an antidepressant with anti anxiety and I’m afraid to take one that will make me eat tons. I’ve been on lexapro and effexor and they were so so.
Tips?

    Wellbutrin helps with compulsive behaviors such as eating and smoking. It has been marketed as Zyban before to help people quit smoiking.

    I know from experience that Effexor helps with weight loss. I have tried Paxil and Prozac and they do not. Neither does Xanax because I take it now too. But remember, everyone is different.

    no. most will make you gain.
    you will just have to “weigh” the pros and cons.
    i personally would rather be chubby than crazy.
