If you have a netbook, it will be great.
Cloud OS’s are great for low powered computers, as they free up resources. But, they dont support program installs, so you will be resorting to exclusively net based Apps like Google Doc’s.
Howwever, if I wanted a cloud OS (which I will for my netbook), I would probably go with gOS Cloud when it comes out later this year.
+Not as excited as I am curious. It will be interesting to see how (and if) this new product thrives in the demanding market.
I like google and i want them to truly show windows users a different path but i don’t like the concept of cloud computing so i don’t know what to think.
I don’t think people realize what the implication for security and privacy are. It nice to be able to store your data somewhere besides your computer, but in who’s hands will it be. Sorry but I rather hold my own data.
what? they’re gonna come out with their own operating system? that would be weird.
