and I was just wondering how the surgery works, and if anyone know the long term effects from it. I live in Virginia, what are the best places here for that surgery? Thanks

My husband had his over 4 years ago and he is doing great. He had horrible eye sight. Coke bottle glasses and stigmatism. He was one of the first patients of his doctor to get the extensive laser surgery done. Not just the normal one they do. I suggest not doing on of those fly by night places. Do save up for it and pay for a Doctor that has been doing it for years like Zieter. These are your eyes that you are fooling with and it is not worth cutting corners. Everyone that we have known to have it done has had good sucess. You just make sure you are qualified for it, get a good doctor, follow directions to a T this is very important. Check it out. My husband praises the Lord everyday that he had it done. It does however cause you to have dryer eyes, but he just uses eye drops and that takes care of it. Good luck in whatever you decide. DO NOT CUT CORNERS!! Pay the extra money and have it done right the first time. I have heard of bad stories of those that go to those “Drive thru” type of places and don’t follow up and wind up messing it up and having to have it done again. No thank you. Going thru it once is enough on your nerves. Oh it isn’t that bad. You can’t feel a thing. It is more of the unknown that gets you going.
