Does Lasik Eye Surgery Stay Good Permanantly?

Or can do your eyes start to go bad again immediately.
I mean if I have to buy glasses again a couple of years after the surgery, whats the point?

Its supposed to stay good, but it depends on each person’s eye and how they react.
I had mine done 8 years ago and I still have perfect vision.

from what my eye doctor said, it hasn’t been approved yet so that means there are still some improvements. my friend got hers done and she is doing great and my eye doctor got his done and now has to wear glasses.

    Excellent Question>
I heard of a new proceedure that doesn’t use a blade…called “Bladeless Lasik”.
This should be better Lasik surgery.
When it first came out, about twelve years ago or so, they weren’t sure what the long term effects will be.
I hope it don’t turn out like the Silcone breat implants.
    Seems okay, so far.
    Cross your fingers.
Or else, we’re gonna have a lot of people walking around with white canes and a tin cup.

The eye should stay good (not go bad) until normal aging takes place (around age 40 you may need glasses that you can buy at any drugstore for reading). Talk this over with your eye doctor or surgeon before having the surgery.
