Long story short-My mom has cancer, has had it for a long time. She was in the hospital and had a physical therapist. Now she’s home and I am her PT. She needs leg exercises she can do while sitting down. She can’t walk or stand on her own. But she’s very indepenent and wants to regain strength desperately. Please help.

I injured myself a few years ago and could not use my left leg and whilst in therapy my exercises were using my toes to pickup marbles (small stones), using my toes to scrunch a towel. The use of an elastic band under my instep to push against, rotating my ankle in different directions. Leaning against a wall and squatting as far as I could in the beginning it was just a little movement then it got better over time. Leg lifts whilst laying flat also in the sitting position and massages.
God bless you for being there for your mother, keep her circulation going that is most important.
