I got my 40gb ps3 yesterday along with a deal for assassins creed. the two other games i got work perfectly. so what is the problem with this 1? I want to know if swapping the game wud do enything or wud the same thing just happen again. Please help! thanx!

It probably has to be updated to the latest version.
because the PS3 sucks.
because you need to have the latest ps3 update and if that doesnt work your disk might be broken, or its just that ps3 sucks
When I got my copy I had to update my PS3’s firmware.
You should check to see if there is a system update for your PS3 and update it.
If it doesn’t work, it’s probably your disc.
I got a PS3 40gig and have no problem playing assassins creed on my system. I bet you just got a bad copy, that does happen from time to time. Just bring it back and tell them you want the same game.
